Springs with a pretty hefty drop...between 1.8 and 2.0' I imagine

I would say at least a 2.0 drop. I think those 18s which would explain the tucking of the tire, but i could be wrong.

:)

I'm pretty sure they're coilovers.

How much drop would you do if you ran 18's

I had ground control coilovers on my P5 and was able to have it dropped that much. I can post pics of the car if you want. PM me and let me know.

I had a pro-kit originally but that wasn't low enough. I was looking into Tokicos with dampening and sportlines but ended up getting Nex full coilovers. They were on ebay for like $699 same as the k-sports then they had a new in box set for like $360 so I got them and love them. It's about 2.5 f/r drop.

Thanks for the compliment. Also you would need 50mm offset wheel to tuck like that in the rear. I have about .200" clearance to the fender and .200" clearance to the strut behind the tire.

How's the ride with the coilovers? Also I have not found anyone with a 50 offset in that style rim, do you think a 45 would work with a 2.0 drop?
About how much taller was the pro kit, and did you roll your fenders?
Thanks for your help.

I love the ride but just have to go very slow into driveways and over bumps. Nearly every car I have owned in the past 18 years of driving has been slammed to the ground so I'm used to being cautious!

My wheels came in a 45mm offset. I am an engineer in a machine shop so I set them up on the mill and took off another .196" to give me the right offset to tuck. This has to be professionally done! My fenders are not rolled and I have 215/35/18's and do not rub. The pro-kit was only 1.4"/1.8" drop and 45mm offset would rub with any weight in the back seat. Rolled fenders might get you an extra .125" there just isn't much there on these cars to roll.

I have B & G Springs on my car and the rears look about the same in drop height but his front looks lower than mine. I would say he has adjustables on there. But like everyone else that sits low and on 18s I have to look out for little things like speed bumbs and driveways with an incline. I even went as far as rolling my rear fenders and still get alittle rub if I have over 200 pounds in the back seat.

def looks like coilovers in the big pic. unless someone has made some beefy looking struts.

They are Nex SS full coilovers height adjustable no dampening. I said that in post #9.

Did you mill that off the back of the rim? ( Both front & back )?
Would you happen to have any pic's of the car with the other springs on it?
O' and how bout a better pic of that engine?? I would like to see that.

Found an old pic about two months after I got her with pro-kit 17's and SRI and a muffler welded on. Pic is not so good but I think the change in direction my car went was for the best!

That engine is sick, how much do you have in her and what's you HP? $$
I like the look of the old pic, not so much on the rims, but ride height looks good. Do you think I could run that drop with 18's?

That pic was in feb 03. I have about 18k on top of the cost of the car.
I am maxed out at about 250hp/260-270tq. Speed Circuit built block very soon just need to free up about $500 more on my credit card. Then I'll be a little over 300hp at 20psi.

A pro-kit with 18's with 48mm might barely clear with passengers in the back.

DAMN, if I had that(five-0) trouble!

Thanks for all the info, not so sure I still want 18's I may step down to 17's.
