Driver side mirror part and replacement question

Ok, so I'm washing my car today and I'm cleaning my driver side mirror and it just decided to SNAP off! I was barley touching, not sure why it happened, i guess it was just it's time... so my question is this:

Based on the pictures below, can you tell me if I can replace just the black attachments or if i need to buy an entire new mirror and housing??

So dealership says i can only replace the entire mirror and housing... they want $162 for it. Guess I get to bend over and take it unless anyone has any other thoughts, but no one seems to be replying so Im guessing im SOL - and yes i've searched through the forum for everyone elses mirror problems but couldnt find the same scenario as mine.
