My mazda dealership said that they could not add one on at all. They would only come from the factory. You would be better of going to Command alarms website and purchasing the add on alarm for under $75 dollars.

You can always call order the alarm yourself.. and have a 3rd party install it. Find out a good alarm installer first. Am I being taken?

got an astro start installed with alarm for $500 after tax. That included the key modulator - you don't need a spare in the vehicle. The guy acutally did it for the dealership an I am sure they charged $100-$200 more. You shoudl start at the astroflex website then look for auth dealers in your area and call for the best prices and only work with those who have done a CX9 before.

I spend $75.00 on a DEI that I installed myself for free-- has many more features than the factory alarm.

YES you are getting ripped off for $800.00
