I have for sale a 03 Evo 8 spoiler for sale. It has a brand new coat of clear on it and is the older more rare version which is full Carbon fiber (the new ones had fiberglass side pods) Mitsu sells the new versions for about $1300 i am letting this go for SOLD!!!!!!!

I also have a P5 spare tire sub. A pretty rare item. It includes part of the harness which makes it very very easy to wire in if you know anything about stereo wiring. Provides great bass and still allows you to use all your cargo room. I assume it will fit in all 3g proteges and mabey even other cars. Mazda sells these with the full harness for about $600 i am selling this $200 plus shipping obo

its oem mitsu white i could probably get it painted pretty cheap to the mazda color of your choice. And no thi will not bolt right on if you take the 03.5 wing off i believe you may need to fill one hole on the trunk

a little misinformation though not a big deal. the full CF wing was around for 03-05, or all evo 8 years. the one with the fiberglass was around for the evo 9, or 06 (and the 06 SE versions, so more like 2 model years). so it should be the more common of the 2 wings offered in the US
the new coat of clear is a good idea. the stock stuff sucks and likes to fade and then peel off. mine is doing it a little and almost everyone's does eventually

i just figure its a little more on the rare side due to the fact that mitsubishi no longer sells it but i understand your point. And that was the problem with this one was that the clear coat peeled on it but i had it profesionally refinished

that is true, people who get a new wing under warranty due to the peeling are getting the 9 wing as a replacement. carry on :)

If it was it was painted Mazda Titanium mica I would def consider it if you went for like 300 shipped..... but alas it is white.

I wish I could but I really cant afford more then 300 right now.

well let me know if anything changes my only problem is that shipping is not going to be cheap due to the size of the box (i have the factory mitsu box which is padded to the gills lol)

even though this is already sold, if anyone reads this thread heres a pic or two of the fit:

and heres how I installed mine for whoever bought it:
to install it has four bolts stock, the two rearmost fit the trunk but you have to drill holes for them....the two forwardmost bolts have to be cut off the spoiler. place the spoiler on the trunk with the rear bolts on it and tighten it down, then mark a location to place two new forwardmost bolts, drill through the trunk and spoiler and use self tapping screws or bolts, and tighten as needed (thumb)
I also had to take off my trunk, sand it down and bondo out the middle hole cause the mp3 spoiler had a middle pedastole =(
