Hello folks. Been browsing the forum since I bought my spicy about one year ago.
Here is my problem, under full acceleration motor stumbles. Does not matter what gear, doesnt matter what RPM, mash gas and instant power cut. This just started about a week ago, so far no CEL. I can bring the RPMs up slowly all the way to redline with no negative reaction but if I get on it, like a brick wall, No power.
I cleaned EGR valve based on what i had read here. No change, new air filter, new plugs about two mounths ago.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

Car has almost 50000 on it if that helps.

Thanks James

If you're hitting fuel cut, it's probably your wastegate actuator. It's either leaking/diaphram went bad. It's a common problem.

Since you say the motor stumbles, it could be the famous fuel dumping that our ECU does. When you floor it at any rpm, you don't really go anywhere.

Its not the hesitation that I was getting before which was from to much fuel. This is a sudden stop of all power, motor feels like it is going to drop out of the car stop of power.

Car is stock cept for motor mounts

How would I go about checking the WSA And boost leaks. Pardon my lack of knowledge with boosted cars, first one.
thanks James.

Check to see if your wastegate actuator is bad. Do this by blowing into the vacuum line going to the actuator. You shouldn't be able to blow any air through, if you can you need a new actuator.

And now the fun stuff starts. Make a boost leak detector check for leaks, tripple check all piping clamps. and vac hoses.
