i think that any m5 wagon owner would turn their snotty nose at the thought of being compared to a dodge.

I thought the M5 had a V10. Is that a typo or is that only found in the sedan?

I'm torn. I love the way the new C63 looks. That front end is just sooo aggressive (to me), but I've always loved the RS4. Plus you get a 6M as opposed to the Auto in the MB.

So, I guess I'm voting for the RS4.

...but if I had to choose which one to buy, I'd get the Magnum. Black, black rims with polished lip, dark tint, and a pusher bar on the front.

BMW M5. Space-wise the Magnum sucks. The SRT-8 looks somehow attractive, but it does not have real wagon capabilities. For the rest of the choices, never seen one close enough :(

Yeah, not an M5, but my in-laws drive a 530d in the old continent (E61? (scratch)) and those wagons are superb/sport/spacy cars (nowadays I need to consider enough room for the baby car seat plus easy-in, easy-out access including luggage). The BMW5 worked just great, 4 comfortable passengers + 1 baby, no problem. As per the Volvo v40 we got for the trip, nah.

Too much (blah), to the point: (BMW 5 Series Wagon)+(M Factor) =(drive2)

Yes that is true but the Magnum SRT-8 is the most bang for the buck out of this list.

I've always loved M5s, but I hate the look of this generation of 5-series. Love the RS4, but the Lambo V10 in the RS6 is just too sexy to pass on.

That e63 Benz is such a grampa car, haha.

I really like the magnum, but it's just because I like the rest as their sedan versions better, the wagons look wierd.

The magnum at least feels to be designed as a wagon, not a sedan the mutated into a wagon.

None of the above, you left off the Lexus IS (?) AND the Mazda 6 wagons.

No love for the SRT-8? Don't forget the 2008 facelift (hood and headlights at least), FWIW :D:

Thats because they are not so called performance sport wagons. These car have twice as much hp and tq then the Mazda6 or IS 300 Sportcross.

...not to mention that neither one of them are sold anymore.

I'm torn between both AMG Benzos! The new C class looks sooooo tough. I was out at Summit Pt. this past weekend for a Ferrari Club of Washington meet and there happened to be another AMG wagon variant (E55) - you can really appreciate this car when you see it door-to-door with some exotic company. Champagne sleeper FTW!

M5 in a ****ing heartbeat.

AWD is ****ing pointless if you live in the Mojave Desert like me.

That said.... would prefer an E34 M5 wagon.

In a car with over 400 hp, AWD has a purpose, even on dry pavement.
