Hi All! New MP5 member here. Lurked around for awhile researching info from this site. Lots of great information! Everyone is very helpful.
Thanks to info sharing here, I was able to secure the fastest MP5. A 2002 Sunlight Silver w/71K miles. Runs great but has a few scratches and nicks. Auto only as this is our "third" car which means the kids get to use it. I did find some really nice 5 speeds, but...(no)
No major mods planned. I'll leave it to the rest of you. I'll enjoy reading what you all do! Sorry, no pics yet...(p5silver)

Rather have a rare slower red P5 than a too common fast silver. faster color? blah!

Welcome! No matter what they tell you...Yellow is fastest. LOL!
You may even end up not letting the kids drive it after you realize how much fun it is to drive. ;)

No major mods. Auxmod Ipod mod and maybe the Tribute window washer nozzles. New tires, brakes and rotors when the time comes.
Once it passes to my son, he may get interested. We'll see.

LOL!!! Did that with my VW Corrado G60 (supercharged). Parts would show up at the house.
Oh yea honey, the aftermarket parts were much cheaper than OEM and they are supposed to be a better quality and improve gas mileage and have a better warranty. I left out the better performance part!
