View Full Version : Quick Question MSP!

I know this mabey dumb but, i havent had a chance to get in the radio area and all that of my MSP and i am going to repaint the bezel around the radio and ac controls yada yada... How do i get the durn thing off? I just dont want to go pulling on it and break clips. Help me out guys

Point the top air vents down, grab the bezel under the vents and pull, it pops right out. The bottom wont come all the way out, you have to remove the screws around the A/C controls and disconnect the emergency light switch up top. If you want one to paint without messing up your nice MSP one I have a plain DX one thats ready for paint, cheap.*sold* lol

BUT you need to disconnect the HVAC controls from it or the Airbox under the dash before it will come all the way out..so dont try to rip it away once you think its off....I think you have to go under the dash through the passenger foot area and disconnect the cables at the Airbox..you will see them.

I finished my post above, sorry lol. You really dont have to do all that though, I just used this ratchet screwdriver type thing and removed the 4 screws holding the A/C controls on.

I said either /or..so yeah..I just didn't want him yanking on it and breaking the controls.
