Alright so check this out guys... It's a bolt on Pc. (not a whole hood) but you have to cut a hole in your hood if you want it to be functionable!!! what do ya think about it?

You know what, no offence numbnuts... I understand that I'm asking for your opinion but it's people like you that make it so annoying to even post on sites like this... Which is why I stopped posting two years ago!!! A simple na, I don't like it would have been just fine, but I guess I have to accept the fact that there are people LIKE YOU in this world and on forums like this!!! SAD!!!

Not my cup of tea, but if you like it, then cool. Personally...I wouldn't mind a nice little NACA duct right over the intake, assuming I were to go short ram air.

It doesn't look that bad, the design flows well with the hood(cant tell exactly how well, or how big it is from the pics though), and it's functional. It's nice to see people doing something different. Got any pics of the whole car maybe from farther away?

Its not horrible. But if you did cut the hood at that spot so that it would be "functional" then I would think that hot air would actually heat up the IC since it would be flowing from the engine bay out the back.
But I too would love to see the whole car? Did you take this pic? Is it in Oceanside? I'm here in Escondido. Good to see another North County member!

I think they were calling the mazda flame decals rice
the blister looks really clean and well done....and unlike ricers its functional, rather than putting a hoodscoop on a car that doesnt have a TMIC or even have a hole in the hood for the air to come in, ya know?

I actually like it. Picture it just stock color. It would work and be very functional on a speed 3 as well. All the heat would rise from the turbo right out.

As well as flowing hot air across your TMIC (notcool). IMO, this would be only be semi-functional if you had a FMIC.
Its a similar effect to what would happen with this hood.

I do not like it. To me it does not really flow with the body lines of the car and thus looks out of place.

looks OK, the paint job is prob. throwing the look off.
if was a solid color hood might look better.

dude, if you didn't want my honest opinion then you shouldn't have posted a question beginning with "what do you think about this?"
All that ricer bullshit is nasty and I don't like it.
Am I not entitled to my opinion? I think the ms3 looks best in its stock form.
I agree that i think the paint scheme is whats throwing the car off. It would look pretty good i think in a solid color. I would really like to see that.

That car is pretty wild looking. Not sure how I feel about the hood thing but one thing is for sure, that paint job is crazy!
Changes the lines on the car. I didn't know I was looking at a hatch.

half the size would be better for the car
