Manual Boost Controller.

i'm sorry, i should have been more specific.

if you want to up the boost without a tuning solution, you will need a Manual Boost Controller and a Fuel Cut Defender.

Your asking for a whole lotta trouble when you start messing with the waste gate for 1 to 2 lbs of boost! Its not worth the trouble, I would do an intake downpipe and exhaust and there you go, instant boost.

been there done that dude i also have a cai,no cats and a 50 shot of nos going into the turbo and yes i'am still looking for more power you know how that is (never fast enough speed)

to be honest ....

be smart ... go with a tuning solution. Nitrous, upping boost, etccc = Disaster without a good tuning solution.

Check out www.cp-e.com

Their standback is INSANE !!!

CP-E claims 30whp/40ftlbs from their CBE...that's exaggerated, right? ^^;

I think that's with the DP too.

man...i think you're right, cause i just re-read, and they specifically switch to "TURBO back" when talking about the dyno gains...as opposed to "cat back", which is what they're selling on that page...

When I had my MKV GTI some guys had tried a wastegate fix to try and get more boost, guess what he got, a blown turbo. On a turbo car unless you are willing to deal with the consequences of a excess pressure I would leave everything alone with the exception of letting it breath better with an intake and downpipe.

I am sure that is grounds for fire with alot of people here, but for the longevity of the car would not mess with the waste gate. I would not even mess with the ECU, most of the bypass valves and diverter valves on the car are rated with a certain spring load that when exceeded will cause boost leaks.

Mess with the waste gate when you have a Big turbo upgrade, but till then leave it alone!
