Hey there Guys I have been reading through these forums for a while and based off the information I have been reading I wanted to know how many times everyones speed 3 has been back to the dealership and at how many miles.
Feel free to state what Mazda did for you at the time aswell, I think this information would be interesting and helpful.
Let me start 656 Miles and 3 times at dealer for Clutch pedal squeak and 2nd gear grind. Currently at dealership for evaluation.

1000 miles i had my battery replaced. I left the car on overnight but i didn't tell them that. But i posted because the woman there said she has seen a couple people come in with bad batteries.
Edit: Also i'm an idiot because i didn't see you had a speed.

How did you know you had a groove in your brake rotor, were they any sounds or behaviors befor you brought it in to the dealer?

I looked at it......
washing the car, looked through the rim, saw the groove. It's normal for marks to be on the brake rotor, but run your fingernail accross it and see if it catches. if it doesn't catch, you're ok-- ended up having debris on the pad, something from factory i guess

Ok, so no audible noises you were just lucky to spot it. I was looking for a possible reason for the winding noise I experienced this weekend.

Only one visit to the dealer so far- at 4800 for the 5000 mile service. They performed the shutter valve actuator/pcm reflash emissions recall while I was there. No problems to report so far...
