ok so basically while i am trying to install my intake btw i went short ram because im low on cash and the dyno was better hopefully it will be better, anyway i was trying to install it when i ran into a snag. Under the stock airbox, there are two bolts where i should bolt my intake down, the intake manual does not picture what is on my car. These bolts hold down an assembly that has a long tube attached to it. Im not sure what it is PLEASE HELP oh and if i take out one of the bolts and install the intake bolt do you think it will be alright? pics up soon

The first picture is the clutch line, I'm assuming your car is a manual transmission and you need that in place for proper operation.
You could remove one bolt and you should be fine, but I don't see why you should have to unless the intake comes with a bushing that threads into that hole to hold down the clutch line plate, and the intake.

yeah its manual, i was thinking it had to do with the tranny because the Intake manual didnt picture this part and then i read for A/T only... i do need a bushing to hold down the intake so it is secure and thats where the bolt is.
today i just tried to take off one of the bolts but its really tight and i do not have the exacty size to take it off. would a torque wrench be the correct remedy for this? or what should i do, I might try using my friends tools since his dad has alot

finished.. is it bad if my engine stalled the first time i started it up? it didnt immediatly stall, im guessing the ecu just was like wow and missapplied or did something to cause a stall.. anyway gains are quit noticable, i do believe that even with the heatsoak, it is still quite an improvement in sound, as well as performance. I really liked the sound. overall deeper tone to my engine. i have the 6i 2.3 MTX btw for everybody's info. and this was an AEM SRS or short ram intake.. i will get pics up soon
