...or are our cars extra hard to keep clean? Especially in silver.

You don't know crap about a dirty car, until you have owned a Black Mica

beat me to it...

i was going to say: if you think silver is hard to keep clean, you've obviously never owned a black car - i can wash my car, and it will stay clean as long as i leave it in the driveway. as soon as i go some where, its dirty again

You know why silver is hard to keep clean right? Because is the faster color. :)

this is a picture of it dirty about 2 weeks w/ no wash

after i got done washing, and put on a coat of wax, it looked 100x better, and was faster to, because everyone knows that wax repels air, making it more aerodynamic.

Silver really hides dirt well. I can also go weeks without washing and it looks clean. I have people compliment on my car and I have to tell them its dirty as hell, they should see it clean. Oh, and ive also gotten... your car don't even look dirty, why are you washing it?

Dark blue FTL. Even in my driveway after a couple hours my car is covered in a thin layer of dirt. It sucks cus they are doing construction just down the road and it's way windy where I live. That and the hard water from the sprinkler systems leaves spots that don't come off even when buffing the car. need to actually use compound to get it off.

well my car stays clean it self but the black rims and dark tinted windows are a dead giveaway to uncleanliness

I wash the car at least once a week. Never give it a chance to get dirty.

Red also gets dusty pretty fast. Especially mine since I always go to work on construction sites!

i think red hides the dirt will. i can go about a week or so in between bathing her but the difference is night and day between clean and dirty. the paint shines so much when the car is clean and when its not it just looks real dull

black mica + florida pollen season = a yellow car for 2 months, no matter how much I wash her

I can see it now! Its gross... I use to have that problem when I parked outside and my car is silver. Straight up green water when I rinsed it off lol. Not as bad as parking under a pine tree and getting sap on the paint like I did when I lived in northern GA for 3 weeks:( Garage kept FTW!

i think red, yellow, and black are the hardest to keep clean. it either ends up fading or in yellow's case, it might end up rusting.

but i agree silver, u dont really notice if its dirty or not cause its always shining lol

Got an electric blue and a white and they both always look dirty after one trip down the road. But my blue hatch always looks dirtier than the white. But, around the wheels on my wife's (white) looks worse than miine
