OKay i want to pwdercoated my rims mirror black (a glossy black). I have always wanted that black on black look. I recently started to think that bc my ms3 black mica is not a true black that with my 20% tint, black mica color, and deep glossy black rims, that it will be to many diff. shades of black and look stupid. Someone suggested gunmetal, but i really want that black on black look and i do not want to get them painted. Do u think this will look stupid or am i being parnoid? Thanx in advance.

it will look good IMO, do that plus the reflector blackout mod on the rear bumper and youll have a sleek car!

I'd do them in a matte black instead of gloss, but thats just me

bc u like matte black or bc it will match better? i got my msp rims gloss black and loved them so i wanted to do it again. Plus with this car i think it will look classier.

I think it looks fine, but u have to want that look. Most people who get glossy black wheels leave the tires without tire shine.....its more of a track/race type style.

I'm not a fan of all black wheels. I like the wheel to contrast against the tire.
I do like the black with polished lip but that's pretty played out

yea i thought about that and its extremely played out and if u go that route they have to be real expensive to actually look half good.

I paid about $105 a wheel.

And if you go gloss black, you need to keep those tires glossed..nothin looks worse than a shiny black wheel with dull tires.

105 for 16 inches sounds about right. true about tire shine. i want all black no questions, just will it look good with black mica, Citizenpro was that speed 6 black mica?

why don't you compromise, get a semi-gloss black... i agree with the color of the black ms3 kind of weird. if it were me, i'd probably do them semi-gloss or flat black. it would go good with the trim. flat black is more of a track look but i love it.

Meh, I can't stand black rims. The blackest I would go is a gun metal.. Now that would look pretty tight with my white pearl.... :P

Do flat black; or 'matte' if you will. For questions, see rims on the Aussie MPS Extreme. They are teh phatness.

If you going to do black/black, I say go shiny. My personal opinion is that the machined metal with a shiny backround looks the best.
