ms3 intake vs another company

has any one ran into any warranty issues with running another intake system beside the mazdaspeed intake? i don't wanna void my warranty! but i also don't wanna speed the 380 on a mazdaspeed one when u can get another companies for 130-150 dollars cheaper. just trying to spend my money wisely thanks

He wasnt asking about how it performed... he was asking about if any problems with warranty work would arise.

Any intake is going to perform about the same...

get one from a reputable company and all should be well


if anything arises about warrenty, the dealer has to prove the part cause the problem. With a reputable company, you should have no problems caused by the intake.

I read that a little differently I think... I took it as a joke: I've already had it for 24 hours and I still haven't had any warranty problems.

(shrug)There are some excellent dealerships out there. It may be good to ask that exact question at the dealership you use. Unfortunately they want you to buy their intake of course and that may influence their answer. I have seen dealerships vary greatly when it comes to aftermarket products and warranty issues. That tells me some of them are making "judgment calls" rather than following any set written policy. I agree that they would have to prove that the exact part caused the problem. This forum is full of posts about dealship battles.
