Well I know it does not look the best, but REI had a sale on all Yakima products and I bought a roof rack for my Speed3. I had to buy two seperate pairs of Q towers. One pair was the 99s and the other pair were the 34s. You guys who have put a yakima roof rack on your 3s or Speed3s, which pair goes in the front and which pair goes in the back? The Yakima fit guide and website was not very helpful. Thanks

How is that Yak rack working for you?
Is it something you can remove once your done at the end of the day? Does it leave marks/scratches...?
I am wondering if I should just wait for a hitch to be available... I already have a hitch type bike rack... I know they make regular 3 hitches...but not specifically for the MS3.
Just trying to decide which way to go?

You can put a hitch on a MS3.

I picked up the Curt Hitch for mine, and I'll be installing it tomorrow.
I had a Yakima rack on my 93 Saturn for about 13 years, and they make great racks. That car actually looked better with the rack, IMO. The MS3 already has pretty clean lines, so I'm going to go with a hitch mount bike rack on it instead. Each has their advantages and disadvantages.

Any pics of the rack mounted? I would like a rack on my MS3 as well since I do a lot of snowboarding in the winter and I would rather have it on top of the car instead of having to fold down the rear seat.

I've seen an MS3 at New England Dragway with a trailer. He was towing his slicks and tools.
