Does Mazda's paint suck as bad as I think it does. My car is not even two months old yet and it has 16 paint chips on the hood. I didn't bother checking the front bumper. I don't tailgate, I stay away from tractor trailors, and I don't go near any kind of gravel. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, did you get any help from Mazda?

might as well repaint the the car... mazda paint is hard to match cuz theres so much flake in it too bad they spend more time on that then making the clear coat thick enough to take hits

thats what i meant theres alot of metallic and pearl in the paint... i dunno i heard it was hard to match i guess we will see when i repaint mine. going for more deep black instead of mica and then some pearl added to it..might be weird i know but hey i just might work.. might not get done for about a year or so though

i painted my audi like what ur talkin about it looked awesome

all i did was look up the formula for the phantom black schwarts its a audi color and over pour the blue green and violet pearl you really have to pour the pearl iin or else ya can barely see it...my friend paints ppg and said theres an additive dcx9 that ya add to the clear and it makes it hard as a rock but its hard as hell to sand and buff but if ya want a stone chip free paint id look at that
