capitol letters I can live without, its the lack of grammar that makes my head hurt.
It sounds like english isnt his first language, or he just sucks at writing.
in either case, did they offer to resolve it? If they need their "wheel expert" to look @ the wheels, atleast they offered SOMETHING. How else are you supposed to get it fixed?
that does suck though... how much did you pay to get the wheels done?

A few days ago I dropped my car off at service to have the left rear axle replaced. I brought it in because it snapped near the joint @ the differential. so I am there today to pick up the car and ofcourse I look it over. I notice my powder coated wheels are dull. It looks like they used some type of degreaser on the wheels and ruined the finish. The service manager told me "no way my guys would use any type of cleaner on the wheels". So now he's telling me to leave the car and he will have a wheel guy come in to evaluate the wheels. I said to him, "my ass you are keeping the car here!". I got on the phone with mazda to report their asses and spoke to the general manager. Even one of their senior techs came up to me. I told him about what happened and he agreed that some of the people that work there are apes with a wrench. Freaking a! I have dealt with thess people for so many years too! I change my cars every two years: from mazda rx7's, rx8's, mazda 3's, and now my speed6. This shit is unreal...*

Did you pass the 8th grade?
Why would the dealer even do anything other than remove the wheels?
Thanks for bringing the collective intellect of this site down a few notches.

Or perhaps he's simply so pissed someone just ruined his wheels that he doesn't give two sh!ts about punctuation, spelling or grammar. I know I'd be seriously choked.

You missed something...(boom02) Good work though.
What makes you think the people at the dealers know what their doing anyways? They are always a hassle. Unless it was warranty work, which im assuming it was? I would never go to the dealer for any job. Don't let them screw you man.

My local dealer was driving my car out of the shop and around to park it, blew a tire SOMEHOW and decided to just keep driving on it instead of stopping.
After he destroyed the sidewall of my less than 1 month old tire, service manager tried to get off with just "we will install and balance a new tire for you".
Suprising how saying that you're going to call head office and ask them about the policy suddenly gets you a new wheel at no cost.
Don't let them get out of it, if they ruined something, they can fix it. Not only are they insured (as all shops are), but they make so much money they can afford to fix their mistake.

My question is this: why would the dealer give a shit about your wheels?
My dealer never cleans my car when it is in for service (thank god). Additionally, if the dealer does provide such a service as cleaning your car when you drop it off to have service done, why would they ever waste dollars or time placing some type of special cleaner on your wheels?
Just my $0.02

my thinking is, if they DID spray his wheels, it wasnt to clean them, but because they got something (gear fluid anyone?) ON the wheels.
if that was the case I can definately see them cleaning the wheels.
I don't know if making fun of the guy's writing ability and insulting him is the same jacking his thread, but damn!! He's relaying a dealer problem and is already pissed off to the max. What kinda consolation is a bunch of BS like that?
Dealers do that kind of thing all the time. If you press them they usually make good on damage. It may not be a cleaning solvent, but more likely brake fluid damage or something like that. Tired or don't give a sh!t mechanic, slapping the wheels on with nasty mech gloves, after changing the axle and removing whatever, bungs up the wheels (I take it they won't clean up?) If you had em done, you have a cost to bill them for, so do it. This would include any special prep for re-coating a possibly contaminated finish, or could be as letting the coating facility clean them up. Either way the dealer's responsible, and ultimately they'll get the charges from the tech responsible for the damage. Check the paint finish closely too, make sure they didn't get any on the body.

It's not uncommon for some dealerships that have an automated car wash on site to wash every car they service. The dealership i used to work for did it. The problem is they usually have a young kid running it that likes to play with chemicals. We had several different car wash kids that would take the detailers cleaners and waste them on every random car wash. So it isn't too big of a surprise to see it happen somewhere else. Had to replace like 3 sets of wheels in the 7 months i worked there.
