Anyone else have trouble getting the rear hose to seal? Naturally, it's the hardest to get to. I installed my ETS TMIC and took it for a test drive. Car didn't run as well as stock. I pull her in the driveway and have a look see. My rear hose is slipping off to the point I can see the sealing rim. Bollocks!. I've taken it on and off twice and think I finally have it sealed. It seems like the clamp wants to walk off the hose as I tighten it.

I am I the only one?

what kind of clamp is it? Perhaps grab a nice T-Clamp for that hose?

I used the clamp that came with my SU hoses.

Lesson learned with my supra...Worm clamps suck bad on high pressure turbo hoses. Does that pipe have a bead to help the seal? or is it just flat?

bead.

When I installed mine I didn't have any issues. It was a pain in the ass to get the hose on, but eventually I got it on with no leaks or problems.

as did I. It's on and seals very well. Car pulls VERY hard. It appears to build boost faster and holds it longer. I was a bit skeptical when I bought it as I had purchased an FMIC on my GTI 1.8T and saw minimal gains. The Speed3 responds very well to the TMIC. I am pleased.

glad it worked out, that one is a little tricky, i think i tightened it first before securing the tmic. Hope you dont have to take it off again soon, i dont bother for the dealer visits now, the TBE and gauges kinda give the game away anyway.
