Researching...
Nothing at Edmund's recall tool:
http://www.edmunds.com/maintenance/recalltsb.do?step=recall&year=2007&make=Mazda&model=MAZDASPEED+MAZDA3&style=Sport+4dr+Wagon+%282.3L+4cyl+Turbo+6M%29&zip=46037&synpartner=edmunds
I don't have my VIN handy or I'd check on mymazda.com, somehow my acount disappeared and I had to start a new one. Worfless ass site anyhow. Somebody look into this, would like to know if there's a recall again...
Please?
:)

I dont have the paper work on my. But i got it on friday!
It was a recall fo rthe p2006 or somethgi that everyone was having a problem with
cx-7 ms6 and ms3 are all accounting for! Not like a motor mount recall which was a mandatory. But somethgi about the valve not workign right in cold weather. What a lot of people were gettign cel fo rlast year around winter!

My car threw a P2006 code last week, the intake runner flap stuck problem. It is not cold here, this is California! This has happened once before about a month ago and I just cleared it. Both time have been just after tinkering with the suspension - huh?
Anyway, I called the dealer and the service rep didn't know anything about it so I talked to the parts desk and he said "oh yeah, there's a recall on that. I have the parts in stock." So my car is going in on Thursday to get it fixed. It's interesting when the parts counter has more information on the cars than the service writers.

I got the obdii one from my dealer, voluntary yes, as some people were all clamoring about months ago - cold weather related.
What is the illumination one, my dealer had nothing like that, just this voluntary and the other 2, floormats and mount.

THERE IS A RECALL ON THE FLOOR MATS?
the original all weather floormats got the gas pedal jammed underneath them, so they recalled all of them. The new ones have been fixed though

moonpie thats good, you had me cracking up here at work and now everyone is staring at me, o well wasnt the first time and certenly wont be the last. my understanding is it is just a reflash of to computer that takes care of it. something about no actual poroblems with parts just the calibration of the sensors and what it means, and the light is just reseting the light if its on.

I had all of them done on monday. The car seems to pull a little stronger with the new reflash. One thing i notice now is im getting girgling from the exhaust when letting off coasting down hill.. Car seems to respond better now and i dont get any hesitation like before sometimes while shifting full throttle from 2nd to 3rd.
recalls:
4607F- #4 Engine Mount
4807H- MIL Illumn
4907H- OBD II Compliance
No number in computer ( Flutter Valve )

Got mine done yesterday. I made a lot of mental notes on the way there to do a little testing on the way home. The car felt exactly the same on the way home, one thing I forgot to do is see if it was letting off a lot of carbon on the freeway like it sometimes does under long hard accels, I couldnt get it to do it on the way home, hopefully that may be solved, but I doubt it. My car dosent feel any slower or faster, however it for some reason felt smoother when I kept on it on the freeway. But the weather was perfect out so maybe that played a role.
Basically the car feels the same so I wouldnt be worried about a power loss or anything...

Obd-ii Compliance Voluntary Emission Recal
Q: Why are some of this type of vehicle involved, and others are not?

I didn't take mine off when I had my recall work done, but then... I have the Mazdaspeed intake. ^_^;; I've been told by the sales rep that they're lenient with the mods, so I wouldn't have worried even if I owned some other brand. I guess it depends on the dealership though.
