Installing subs and amp.. Need info

I have a m6 TE. ( standard radio with steering wheel audio mounts + ipod connection in glove compartment. )

I waited all summer to see if someone wanted to buy my old subs and amp from my previous car. Now that i still got em.. id rather not waste em. In the standard m6.... can i remove the dash, connect wires to the back of the cd player/radio, and wire them to my amp/subs without purchasing any kits?

Just wondering if its the standard open, cut, splice together, and voila.. you got subs. I installed it last time, but it was a store bought radio so it had all the right connections.

Any info or help would be great...

You will need a Line Out Converter and tap into the wiring for the rear speakers. Then you run wiring from the LOC to your amp and finally from your amp to your sub.
