A bunch of guys on here have said that the drain and fill plug on the tranny are 23mm, its not, its 24mm. Many, Many trips to the local Sears(10 miles each way) and U need either an open ended or closed ended 24mm wrench or a 1/2 drive with a 24mm socket. You cant use a 24mm socket with a 3/8 inch driver as the adapter makes it to long to fit. Just a heads up, it is a 24mm and both are the same, and make sure you have a long hose on your Funnel.

I put just under 3qts in prob 2.85.

its 2.7. just fill it until it leaks out of the fill plug.

An alternative fill method is to use a pump from below. It's a bit easier to get the plug in when it's full without a huge mess. Plastic transmission oil pumps specifically for this are available inexpensively at auto parts stores.
