So today I took my MS3 to get dyno'd. $40 for 2 runs which isn't bad at all. But I am disappointed with the results :(
225 HP/ 254 TQ on the best run :(. There were 2 stock MS3's that dyno'd before me that got around 250 HP/ 275 TQ. I heard one guy put a bag of ice on top of the IC though. Both my runs were with the hood open and the fan blowing towards the front. I wonder if I would have gotten better flow across the IC had the hood been down so that the ducting would direct the flow directly on the IC. Also, I don't think that their RPM measurements were correct. The HP/TQ curves should always cross at 5252 RPM (HP = TQ*RPM/5252) which they don't on my chart. I didn't notice until after I left the shop and I tried to call them but no one answered. I'll give them another call on Monday. Maybe they'll let me dyno it again for free :)
I also logged some data on the DashHawk during the pulls. Its crazy to see how little boost there is at redline and how closed the TB is. :( Plus this thing was rich as hell as most MS3's are.
Anyways, heres the chart and the data:
