is it bad to drive 100 miles straight with the ebrake half way up?

yes it is look at ur rotors.. any sign of warping or deep gouges in them... if ur car was still rolling fine and didnt feel differently u may be ok... new rotors are somewhat cheap if u need new ones.

I did the same in my old 3 but it was a 1/4 up. Then one day I was on an incline at about 45%. I went to sit down in the car and e-brake failed and teh car obviously started to roll back. I am assuming the dealer had to drain the lines and or something. I would get it checked out just to be safe.
BTW, how the hell did you not feel the difference in acceleration...lol

lol i was in a funky mood last night before i went to bed. i thought this thread would just be everyone telling me how much a fool i am.. i didnt do that. haha but thanks for the concern and advice.

your rear brakes will have worn down and overheated , but half way up on our cars doesnt seem that much so I wouldnt worry about it, drive straight , let go of the steering wheel (provided u are on a flat surface) hit the brakes and see if the car pulls. regularly 70 % more or less of your braking force comes from the front so any wear that you might have caused to the rear shouldnt matter that much.
