should i stay with my autometer gauges boost/vac and air/fuel or go with the Prosports from www.prosportgauges.com.... IMO they look a lot nicer and they arent too expensive. any experience with these?

when it comes to gauges you get what you pay for go with a wideband by aem the autometer gauge is fine for boost/vac

in my opinion you should just keep the autometer gauges, they get the job done, there not bad looking, and i dont see a point unless youve got a fat wallet ready to burn..i would say use the money for something else that you dont already have

greddy all the way if you can afford it that is. i just got the boost and oil pressure is on the way hopefully. they make psi version which is not toooo att. like the warning silver ones but its readable and precise.
P.S FYI i'm gonna sell my glowshift gauges as soon as i put the greddy ones in. i'll have to sell the boost/vacume one , oil press and narrow band air fuel ratio gauge(digital one). they not bad but got a good deal on the greddy ones.

Yes, the gauges look sweet, but the price is ridiculous. Let's see, $80 for the boost gauge, then you have to buy their boost module as well for another $100. That's way too much money. If you want elaborate, car show style gauges then yes, Defi and PLX are a great money pit, but if you want something simple Autometer makes good gauges. Personally I am going digital with my next set of gauges, and I'll likely grab whatever is the best looking off of SummitRacing, brands include Dakota Digital (had these with my Lancer Turbo, great gauges) and Cyberdyne.

I have the Prosport electronic boost with peak hold, it's a nice gauge that wasn't a wallet breaker. Before that I had Autometer Ulatralight boost and narrow band. If you are looking for a great Wide Band, look into Innovate. Not cheap, but not too expensive and they are Lamba.

those prosports gauges are pretty sweet... but don't seem to match the msp's interior (during the day at all. if you can live with that.. by all means. autolite's match almost exactly

the cool thing about the premium prosport gauges is you can wire the display for white or amber or both, one at day and the other at might. With the amber on they match dead on

yes but you can display four parameters on one gauge, and ill shuck out the eighty + the hundred, on top of all the other money I have spent just to keep this fussy assed msp on the road its nothing. If your looking for budget racer, than my friend you picked the wrong platform.
