sooo i dont have much done to my speed6 but what i do have is an SU test pipe, and i did the stock intake mod.
im having a problem choosing what to do next, i dont want to spend a lot of ca$h but i do want a bit more pep to the wheels.
in my price range the only mods i can think of doing next are:
BOV
rear engine mounts
turbo boost
CAI
im out of ideas and my wallet is not heavy, but i really want a bit more HP!
sooo please help me out!!!!!
and yes i do know a magnaflo exhaust or something like that would be the right thing but i really dont want my car to be any louder than it already is plus its way too expensive!!!!!
thanks guys

I would suggest a Motor Mount, because it improves Shifting and Changes the characteristics of the Car Tremendously.
Save up your money for worthwhile mods

It's worth it if you get it tuned....A Cai only gives you at best 10 hp increase that you probably won't even feel on a butt dyno.
so for now Yes.

what is turbo boost?
to be honest i have no clue lol
i hear you guys always talking about manual turbo boost?

manual boost controller to turn up the boost. boost is the air pressure that comes out of the turbo and into your motor.

yes it does it makes the the turbo pump more air into the motor. you just got to know how to tune it cuz you might blow up your engine!

You don't need a new BOV unless the stock leaks.
Motor Mounts for smoother shifts (but risk some vibrations at idle)
CAI (I would say just for the sound)
A short Shifter for smoother shifts
a lot of the rest of the stuff will void your warranty. how did you get a test pipe w/o the dealer shitting on em?
If you can do that get a catless (high flow cat) downpipe.

see statments like "blow up your engine" make me not wanna touch my car, hehehe, im not like a motor head i really dont know much about engines, all i know is where pices are located... but if you ask me to change a spark plug, or remove something--- im lost hehehe.
but i do know how to put oil and windshield wiper fluid lol
no but seriously i think im just gonna stick with the CAI, BOV, and maybe motor mounts. my buddy at my garage sais BOV's may reduce power?

Yes, i would recommend you get the CAI next, then the mount, or vice-versa, oh, and imo stay away from the boost controller unless you really know what your doing!!

I have a MS intake, but they all look to be about the same, I don't think you would notice a diff. most people w/ fujitas seem satasfied

pick a CAI in your price range then search some feedback on the forums.
But in my opinion, you shouldn't change a BOV if it's not broken, but that's just imo.

BOV..Does not add power
Motor mount...Does not add power
CAI..Adds very little in General....and on some cars..may cause a torque loss
Boost controller....Stay away..if you cant change your own oil or a spark plug dont F*@$ with your car boost....We dont want you to come crying to us when your motors blown.

The Motor mount does aid in shifting and launch...so it does add power (Improves drivability)...although indirectly.

theres always a down side:
BOV is good for preasure, but you may loose power
CAI adds minimal HP, but you may loose TQ
Turbo boost may add power, but if you dont know how to use it your engine is Fuc*'d
I wish there was a chip i can put in the car to give me 100 extra HP and cost a resonable price! I know there the PnP but that costs like 1000$ right?
theres know winning :(
everything that will add genuine HP costs MAJOR $$$$
new turbo = $
new exhaust = $
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

short shifter does add power (power to your mind... not the car)
mods that add a lot of power for what it's worth are downpipe + testpipe and the access port to change the EMS if it ever comes out for the speed6

look CAI if you go with the CPE you will get more hp/tq.

The Motor mount does aid in shifting and launch...so it does add power (Improves drivability)...although indirectly.Once again..Since this Moderator is on a powert trip and feels that anyone who goes against his word should be hit with an infractio..I will repost EXACTLY what I said.....
A motor mount IN NO WAY gives you any Power..PERIOD.
It can only lead to the more efficient use of what you already have.
Make sure to get your stuff staight before you go spewing BS to these guys that dont know any better..its how wrong information gets posted.
And nothing in this post deems it worthy for deletion....Neiher did the last..but it was deleted..so if you delete it...I will not be happy about it...and I am already directing other mods to look at your behavior.
I am sorry the the info you posted is false...But it is.
Once again...get your info straight before spreading it around.
Thanks

You will be able to use more of what the engine already has due to the new mount, but the motor mount will in NO way ADD any power.

How exactly does it add to overall power indirectly? OH WAIT IT DOESN'T ADD AT ALL!
