Need help with motor rebuild.

Ok.... I can not remove the Aluminum 'gurdle' that attachs to the block. The oil pan attachs to that. It is unbloted and i can get the pullie side to seperate but the trany side will not. the trany is still attached and i have heard that there is two bolts that are inside the bell houseing of the trany. I was told that I could drill two hole in the trany to access them. But, I do not know were and noone can tell me. Can someone please help. I have to get this done. thank you.

i took the motor out and then the transmission. lol. but if you cant do that due to time or whatever, then i don't know what to tell you. me and my brother tried to figure this same thing out and just decided to take it out. its not hard to take out this engine at all actually. might sound like it, but very simple procedure.
