Im looking for aftermarket wheels in either 16" or 17", something around 100 or lower. I know its not much but im sure theres some decent options out there. Theyd go on a silver p5.

Suggestions Please!

That's pretty broad, man. There are thousands of options available.

As I'm sure you know, your wheels are the single most noticeable appearance mod you'll make and will define the car as yours. Check the online vendors and search the wheel threads to narrow down the category.

cheap wheels are available everywhere. Usually, u can find cheap wheels on ebay.

although i'm very poor, but i still like wheels with great tags on. Like, SSR Professor Wheels.

i like the mazda3 17" rims. I don't know how much u can get those for off of someone. I also really like the stock rims on the p5s, if they were just 17" too, i wudnt consider looking for other rims, but oh well.

Wow those are the style wheels Ive really been looking for. I saw some flik arctics which are the same design and they were going for like 80 a rim but now theyve sold out. Any other ideas on rims of that style?

protege's are very sensitive to wheel weight - so, my advice is to get the lightest wheel you can afford, and stick the widest, lightest tire on it you can fit

Does anyone know if the wheels off of a Mazda 5 will fit a P5 without any problems?
Thanx(rtfm)

Mazda5 chassis = Mazda3 chassis, and Mazda3 rims are P&P on Proteges, so Mazda5 rims should be good to go.

Tell me the size and offset and I'll give you a precise answer.

Thanks, Josh. They are 17 X 7 but I'm not sure about the offset.

the offset is PROBABLY 60, but i'm not 100% sure on that - the Mazda6 17x7's are 60, so i am assuming so are those

you might want to consider a 5mm spacer, depending on the tire size you plan on running

What size tire would I need to run in order to forgo the spacer?

i would think max of a 215/45, but i'm not 100% sure
