My car has stock headers and piping.. except for a sport oval muffler
Right now my car sounds pretty low deep with the muffler
My question is how would it sound if i remove the stock catalytic and put a high flow one??
I appreciate any suggestion! :D

Well it should be pretty deep. I have the corksport power series exhaust on mine, which eliminates the cat and it's deep and pretty dang loud. So it should sound good.

Yea i miss spell that..
So have at least a sport muffler on your car?
Cuz if you don't have cat but have a stock piping and muffler..my question has no point

well it might be a bit louder with stock muffler and no cat but definately not so loud that anyone would really notice. You'd really really need a performance muffler to get any sound and depth out of it. Larger total piping will also help with the overall sound.

Well i removed my stock muffler long time ago..i have a sport oval muffler on with small chrome tip.. so thats my point.. if putting a high flow catalytic will sound loud
Don't forget i'm not gonna touch headers..piping..or resonator
Here's a picture of my muffler and my tip

I'm not honestly sure how much difference you will hear. It's just one of those mods that if you want it you're gonna have to find out after you've done it.

After installing my new COSMO CAI i went to the muffler shop..the guy told me that he can't install a high flow cat cuz the one on the protege comes with the headers.. not on the piping.. then i ask him to get rid of the sponge shit the cat has inside..and he said that if i do so, check engine light is gonna pop out cuz the o2 will notice the cat is not getting hot (cus you removed the inside of it)
So now im screwed up.. next week he's gonna install a magnaflow muffler on my car cuz the one i have its broke
My next question is what if i get bigger pipes AND longer resonator.. will get some gains and quite the noise down with the long resonator?? idk
