Yea I will eventually get some black ones.. I didnt want to sand and paint the stockers though.. Since it would just come off whenever I took off the wheels for whatever reason..

Looks good, only time I've seen that colour combo is on a STi. gj =]

you forgot the center caps. Just remove the Mazda emblems and paint away...

They come off pretty easy?

the emblem or the cap?
the cap just pops off from the inside when the wheel is off...
as for removing the mazda logo, Ummmm... I dunno...

if you use a small flat tip screwdriver, you should be able to push the clasps in on the back side and remove them fairly easily. When you go to put them back on, just spread the clasps out again and clip them in.
pretty easy.
Here's a closeup of mine done...

I got them off when I painted the wheels.. I was talking about the M on the cap.. Or did you just sand and paint it too?

No, the little flying M on the centercaps is what I'm talking about.
They have little clasps you can push in and remove them.

That looks great! I was actually talking to my girlfriend this week about possibly doing a light gun metal gray or gold. Nice work!

I used krylon high temp engine enamel.. I just made sure to sand them down nice to get a good surface for the paint to stick.. Which is why it took so damned long...

did u paint or spray them?
I spray painted them.. Its very time consuming, Its really easy to get overspray on them and get a runny paint job..

I painted mine in a "Graphite" color using Duplicolor wheel/rim paint. You probably should of done the center caps w/emblems, would've looked much cleaner.

looks really good man. it makes me want to save 150-200 bucks and just paint mine. i can't decide on black, gunmetal or bronze for my sunlight silver...

Looks awesome! I'd definitely make the lug nuts either dark or chrome like before. Doesn't look quite right when they blend in with the rims.

I'd say you might want to make the "M" emblems black now... I think that would set them off better.
looks pretty damn good though!

Looks great. How long did it take? Did you remove the tire? did you have to sand or could you have used a paint stripper? Im interested on the process.

They are my favorite so far. Truly I dont like Bronze, it looks like a dirty gold to me. Those look like a dark gold, which I do like alot. Black and gold is my favorite combo. You just need some tint!!
