Can anyone help me locate a "good" write up on how to mod the fog lights to work with just the parking lights and highbeams?

I did this on my spec v, but can't seem to find anything good for the MSP.

I know theres a write up here somewhere, I just have mine hard wired seperate from everything. I think Liquid_Ag did the mod your talking about though, send him a PM and he should be able to help you out:)

As far as I know they come on with the headlights and then and only then can you turn them off with the switch if you want, but you cannot have the fogs on without the headlights on. I could tell you how I have mine but thats not what your looking for, although it is the same result. See attached:)

In my link above, check out post #151 for instructions and pictures. With that mod you can use the fog lights with the parking lights and low beams, but NOT with the high beams (because it is illegal in most states).

If you want to turn the fog lights on completely independently, it is a more complicated process. In that case you would need to source power to the relay from a different wire on the switch, and the switch would need a power source from an ignition/accessory wire.
