Original Ipor Adapter Problem Mazda 6 2005 (Non Bose)

Hi, I just installed the original Mazda 6 iPod adapter (C23679CFZ) to my 2005 non Bose system but its not recognizing the iPod. The IPods is charging (even if the acc is off). I went to the dealership and they tried another one with the same output. Please help, I have the 6 cd changer and an Ipod video (ver 1.2.1) I tried a couple of other Ipods and the same story….

i would say to have them buy it back, since it obviously doesn't work, and then buy an AUX MOD or Axxess adapter from therpmstore.com (http://therpmstore.com)

Took the adaptor back to the dealer, went for the Axxess instead, got it on Friday, installation was easy and Works great, very easy to use, not all songs are displaying correctly (probably an ID3 tag issue) also a couple of songs were skipped…. I’ll keep you posted…
