I just placed the an order for some parts for my MS3. I have only had the car for 3 weeks and I am already modding it. Let the fun begin.

BEGi Cold Air Intake Box
Forge Motorsport Bypass Valve
Filter Conversion Kit (damn it, that filter cartridge sucks)

If I may ask why did you get the Begi Box over the Cobb? I'm torn between the two.

I really don't have an answer for that. Sorry.

I know it has been two weeks, but I finally got the first part of my order in. There is no telling when the rest will show up.

Forge Polished Bypass Valve. You can hear it with the stock air box, but that is fine by me. I think the car is holding boost a bit better now, although that could be my imagination. I am still waiting for my BEGi cold air box and my oil filter adapter kit.

Do you have any close-ups of the bypass valve?

J/k.. looks good! I've gotta get my check book out and start playing too.

I called BEGi today and they told me that my cold air box will be hopefully shipped out next Tuesday.

I finally got my BEGi cold air box in. I am not happy with the lack of instructions and lack of proper hardware that came with it. Thank God I have half of a mechanical mind to figure stuff out. And after a run to the hardware store to get screws that would work with the MAS flow sensor, I got it installed.

I love this intake. I love how you can hear the turbo spooling up. I love how I can hear the Forge BPV. There was a definate boost in power. I haven't dynoed it yet, and I most likely won't.

Pictures and video will follow tomorrow after I sober up.

Mazda Dealer in my area has 25% off all Mazda parts including MazdaSpeed through the EOM. I picked up my MS CAI for my Speed3 Friday for a cool $290. There could be cheaper, but for the impulse buyer like myself, waiting for a part to arrive is enough to drive me nuts :)

Hayward Mazda FTW!

I think you are the only one with this intake. Please dyno so we can see how it is working. Nice pics...looks good.

I might try to get my car dynoed this weekend. That depends if the shop has an opening.
