Security Light in dash keeps flashing??!

the red Security Indicator light on the dash keeps flashing. when the engine is started the light stops but when ignition is switched off it continues flashing. Also if I open the doors using the key the alarm goes off.

anyone have any ideas??

I believe it means that you battery on your key FOB is low. Time to replace it

Mine has done this since I purchased the car. I always assumed it was just a theft deterrent.
