speaker noise

with a sub and amp

now my problem is that when the car has the engine running a highpiched noise comes from the tweeters and when i accelerate it gets louder and higher
so when i have the car with just the battery on the speakers dont have the noise...... can any one help me with this -thx

check your grounds... and then recheck your grounds... also how/where did you route your wires for the speakers? if they are along the power wire that could be it as well... do a search for alternator whine and you will finds lots of information on this issue. good luck

take it back to best buy...all those places guarantee their service. the should fix it for free

I would say the Pioneer would look better. I think it's better quality....just a personal choice.

huh the best buy guys just switch the front speakers to the rear channel and the noise went away the front. are 2 way component and the back is the 2 subs....
now the bass can be heard through the front speakers as where before it could only be heard by the bass.......huhmm

The pioneer has more stuff, the Alpine is well, an Alpine, so I would pick the Pioneer.
