small oil leak around distributor

I have a small leak around the distributor, i have a 1.5 lx. ive replaced the o-ring, and it still leaks. i burn about a quart of oil around a 750 miles+ give or take.

valve cover gasket? if still leaking oil. check around the area of the rear main seal. (cant eb replaced till tranny is ut) check the front area? oil pan?

is there any play, is the disty getting a complete seal?

the valve cover gasket is still new it has around 17,000 miles on it. it leaks right under the distributor. I think i have to replace the distributor gasket. I dont know. The transmission is fine, its been service regularly, and its a 5 speed. If not i think i didnt tighten the distributor back right. it might be loose.
