gauges question

i think this is the correct forum to post this question... i want to install a guage pod on the driver side door frame, however, i do not have boost to monitor. does this make it pointless? even if it is pointless i still want the light show going on. a 3 guage pod will do the trick. so what should i meaure with my gauges?(shrug)

Yes, a boost gauge for naturally aspirated applications is pointless, and yes, you'll get razed about it-- as that tends to be a riceboy staple. For N/A applications, you can't go wrong with oil pressure, voltage, and water temp. Generally, those three are sold in a set. However, feel free to browse around our vendors sites and/or the various gauge manufacturers sites and piece together your own set. Personally, I'm a fan of autometer gauges.
