the size of the tire isn't really what determines wear. temperature rating, compound, road conditions and driving habits are what mostly determines that

temperature too, my friend works at acura and they have no2 fill for tires or something like that that keeps tires cooler for longer tread life

ahh yes!! its one of those things that is so obvious i completely over looked it. lol(dance)

i could be wrong here, but i do not think it is to keep the tires cooler. I am pretty sure that No2 isnt as suseptable to changes in pressure because of increased heat from high speeds

Pressure is directly proportional to Temperature.
