Perhaps is a stupid question, and i think i already know the answer...YES
but are they really?
from my 626 engine and the msp engine, block wise, they do look the same.
just want to make sure they are absolutely the same
and the head, what other changes, besides the hole where the ditributor goes, are there?

I think the actual block and head are same, except for the msp cams. Other than that the older FS engines came with a distributor and the newer ones are distributor less.

No, the FS heads can be different
We use coils, not a distributor. Some Probes use the Disi.
The blocks should be very similar if not 100% the same. Heads can be very different.

i'm leaning towards the heads being completely different and the blocks being exactly the same
