whats that gurgly sound?

This is my first turbo car and I have noticed that as I'm shifting inbetween gears that the car will make a gurgling sound. I noticed it on an SRT4 as well.

What causes this gurgly type sound?

do you have a cone filter under the hood? or a CAI ?

if so its the BPV/bov thats making the sound

Sounds like compressor surge. Its more like a gurgle or gobble? (turkey)?
If stock BPV then thats probably it.

Air is being forced back into the turbine blades like talking into a fan.

With all that air in the pipes when you shift especialy at high rpm all the pressure is vented by means of the BPV back into the turbo I believe.

Then again I'm a new to Forced Induction as well.

my msp was stock snd i never heard any turkey.. dont ask why..

either the turkey gobble from the bypass valve, or backfires on a downshift.
