My t3/04e is running 6psi right now. What does that equate to on the stock turbo. Meaning I got the car and don't want to increase the boost to 8 psi if that was equal to 14 psi on the stock turbo. Any help would be great... I know its theoretical and will not be exact. I know my turbo is bigger I just don't think its boosting that much more than a stock msp.

You need to find out exactly what size your turbo is and see if the manufacturer has a flow chart for it and then compare the stock turbo. Your going to need a calculator for all those numbers but it can be done. I have a pretty big turbo as well and it can run on the stock ECU pretty well but you'd be a lot safer with a custom tune. almost wanted to kill the stock motor at one time. Now I'm trying to make it survive until I get a forged on in there.

Wouldn't a boost gauge solve this regardless of turbo size? It just independently measures boost am i wrong?

I'm not exactly sure why but a bigger turbo will flow more air at the same presure as a smaller turbo. Maybe it squishes the air smaller but it does something.
