Hello all, just wanted to share the details on this 323 2002 i did in DR, its basically a latin american market 1.6L, auto tanny, that has been fitted with a Haltech F10X to control fuel and a www.hiboost.com turbo kit.

Here are a couple of pics i will eventually put more up when i can, i used a OBD1 styled patch/jumper harness to tap the necessary wires for the Haltech, and the temp sensors and map sensors where wired as stand alone. This patch/jumper harness is available from me for most 98-02 proteges and 323's. As well as earlier models of cars that have this type of ECU.

Boosting in 1st? what do you mean? Nadim's car comes into boost all the time runing 7-8 psi. :)

Cool, contact me when you want. Are you going Haltech plug in kit too?

Where are you from?

Im from DR. Im a very good friend of nadim, and no, he never boost in 1st, he's always making up excuses about blowing up the tranny. Trust me cause i always fight with him about how i want to feel the car boosting in 1st (drive)

Damn a fellow mazda member in our little island, we had known we would've picked you up and taken you party time up at the city. Juan Dolio is only 25 mins away from Santo Domingo (capital). and Juan Dolio is a decent beach here, bavaro and punta cana would have made you move here lol.

jjjejej i just dont wont to blow my tranny so fast (muñeco)jeje but i would like to see urs when u do have it boost at 1st to see how long will the tranny hold till know iam holding great no boost at first maybe a bit and hitting 2nd to 5 psi and 3rd hiting 7.5 and 8 even some times 9 as for 4 also i do have a lentech street terminator valve body so that would help a little bit more on the oil pressure line but the car is working great

Ohhh beleive me i KNOW the tranny wont last 1 week with me, but thats the difference, im up to about the whole experience of feeling my car with all the potential its got to give, it'll blow up in a week or so. Good excuse to go manual and beat your ass, coming soon won, coming soon ;)

Ok ok, so let me get this straight? Dinas is in DR too?! hey Dinas, you gonna let me put the Haltech E6X on there so we can control ignition too and beat Nadim? :P You better make sure your car runs cool, and right, dont be wanting to blow it up, thats not practical.

Yeah i live in the DR too, like i said me and nadim (nano) are very good friends, and im not talking bout blowing up the motor, i mean the tranny, that will give me a good excuse to get a manual tranny :P. Yeah i was gonna ask you how much of a difference can i get controlling the ignition. Does the FX10 control timing?

F10X = Fuel only

There should probably be a very noticeable difference cause of the way i can tune the ignition will definitively be better than what the stock ECU is going to do.

But as soon as i get back to DR i wanna do some hard core datalogging of Nadim's car to see exactly what the stock ECU is doing as far as timing, that way i will have a good starting point.

I'll get in touch with you as soon as i start my project, im aiming towards mid octobore. As i am doing everything custom, Custom manifold, custom intercooler pipping etc...im thinking bout using WRX injectors. I've heard they work great for our cars, and i'll be using a T3/T4 as opposed to nanos (WON :P) IHI VF24. Im starting to get excited already (cabpatch)
