Just got my new Vibrant exhaust installed at the shop but it's now touching the rear skirt. I don't remember reading any threads about anyone else having this problem? How do I fix this?

There's also a rattling sound at the back, & on the drive back it smelt like burnt metal. If I order the Kartboy hangars, would that solve all the issues?

your going to have to find where the exhaust is rubbing and adjust your hangers from there i know thats what i have ot do with my perrin im rubbing against the rear crossmember it sucks because its sitting a little off to the right too and it really annoys me

I have that same problem and I tock the car to a muffler shop and they adjust the vibrant exhust for 15$ but after a year the exhust is touching the bunper again so I'm going to get the hanger and ajust it.

Are you guys sure your skirts aren't hanging a little. Mine is close but it won't touch unless the skirt comes loose. The Kartboys should get rid of the clunk you are hearing.

yea a lot of people had this problem when the vibrant was first getting popular. It seemed that the kartboy (or PG now:)) hangers would correct the issue.

My skirt's tightly in place. Sam at Crossover told me that the Vibrant was built around the 03 MSP & not the 03.5 rear bumper.

man thats a sick yellow msp you rocking.

As for the Vibrant problem , i'd add this much :
You put stiffer hangers you'll solve the problem of rubbing around , but keep in mind as the stiffer the hangers the more vibration you'll fill from ex and chances are that the rear lip will get loose w/ time and you'll hear more noise from the muffler.

Thats why i went to autozone and got some rubber ones , which have the same design as the kartboy and same thickness, but they do the job and if they wear out i could go back and spend ~2$ a piece FYI.

Use a bigger hanger (available at pep boys, etc) at the very back to put downward pressure right below the lip and kartboys for the rest of the hangers. Problem will be solved, had mine this way since I first bought my vibrant from the first groupbuy.
