CD mode.....

I Have plenty of cd's in .. but it wont go into cd mode. it jus goes quiet. then i have to press fm/am again to hear something. help anyone?!?!?

lol well it sure dont sound like your gonna be able to fix it yourself, my guess is theres something wrong with it internally.

I had problems with my old Mazda3 04 that were similar. The radio would just mute itself or I don't know maybe lose connection or something and then just all of a sudden come back to life on any application. Had to replace the whole system.

Thank god that was the only problem I had with that mazda.

Sometimes these changers take a dislike to certain kinds of CD-R's, and especially to CD's with labels adhered to them as in dash changers are notorious for jamming.

Take it to the dealer and they should warranty replace it with a new unit. They'll send off the old one and you should get your CD's in the mail later on (think close to 30 days).

Hey maybe they'll let you pay the difference in price and get one of the CD/Mp3 changers. No time like the present to upgrade. :D

The exact same thing happens to me.....I have already posted about it a week ago or so. There must be a problem with a bunch of the audio consoles in the MS3's.

I think that I'll eventually warrantee it if the problem pisses me off enough.
