both of those together may give you a very small increase. like .5psi. I doubt the smic will change it hardly at all.

Different plugs aren't necessary. I would look into a hi-flow or catless midpipe (most noticible power mod). Also I converted my Hiboost intake to CAI and it raised my boost by 1psi.

SMIC might give you a slight bump in boost pressure, but probably not much. however, you will feel less heatsoak with it. so that is a good thing.

I have one step colder plugs NGK PZFR7F-11... runs fine.

Mine went up about 1 psi. But I am not running the stock exhaust set up. CustomMSP smic.

3" exhaust with dump closed, no cat, SMIC, Hardpipes and ATP wastegate I hit 9psi steady

with dump open I hit 9.5 then settle at 9psi steady

Here is a GB on a FMIC kit, it is close to being over. Check it out and throw your name on the list if you're down.

Again, your boost will not increase with the stock exhaust. the car will be faster and happier though. Exhaust is easy to change. Intake is easy too -- just get a filter and replace the airbox with it. you don't even need different piping. after that you will see your boost increase.

i prefer a SMIC for my needs.. i'll never go over 10 psi anyways, and i live in a rather cold cold climat so heat soak is minimized to a very specific period of summer... like this morning it's 57 F outside lol

got the cone filter already.. it's fitted on the OEM intake pipe

next spring will be going catless.. the PG SMIC and the AWR mounts are my last mod for this year. :)

well done. you'll be happy with that, especially once you free up the exhaust. After that you're probably safe to run 7-8psi if it doesn't get turned up to that already.
