For those of you who use your Ipod through the aux in port, how are you mounting your Ipod in the car?

For my Ipod mini, I use the Belkin Tunebase in the lighter socket. The unit has an aux out on the plug portion. I run the cable from there to the aux in port in the arm rest. I either have the tune base standing up where I can see it or I rotate it down towards the driver so that the ipod is by my knee.

Using the unit charges the ipod simultaneously without any ground interference.

Using a Harman / Kardon Drive+Play

Check out the "No Go on My iPod" thread in this same category. There's a lot of info in there.

Hey wakblak,

All the talk about the aux port is getting confusing. Understand that you have navi w/sirius. Has installing the switchbox allowed you to use the aux jack and the "media" button on the console?

Yes it works but that is another story.
I will chronicle it in another post.

Got the Griffin TuneFlex connected to my iPhone. Similar to wfnugent's solution.
