Exhaust Questions...

So looking to get a Exhaust for my MSP... now i have been totally confused here.

I need to beable to pass canadian emissions (so basically i need a CAT on the exhaust).

The 2 systems i am looking at are the Vibrant and the GHL. Now the GHL doesnt have a cat on their system. But when i look @ the GHL i see a DP that goes from the back of the turbo and then down. But when i look at the vibrant i dont see that. So even though the Vibrant is a Turbo back exhaust is it a TRUE turbo back? or am i going to have to get a DP for it?

Like the stock exhaust has a S pipe then the DP then the cats... so essentially the S pipes get eliminated with any aftermarket exhaust?

No the Vibrant is not a TRUE turbo back. technically it's a J-pipe back. you will not pass with the GHL, but you will be VERY happy with either one.

I don't believe an aftermarket downpipe (the one directly off the turbo, before the J-bend) yields huge gains, as the stocker ain't too bad. If you do want one anyway, i think protege garage sells them (among others?). and SLS performance has one in production.
