Hey everyone,
I have a Sport model and am looking to install an alarm. Why all new cars don't come with an alarm is beyond me. Anyway, I've been having a real difficult time finding a place that is willing to install a basic alarm. Seems that nobody is qualified to install on the '07s and I'm not paying a bunch of kids extra $$ to "learn" the install on my car (read CircuitCity).

I'm in San Diego, CA. Do any of you know of a reputable place that knows how to install in the '07s? I found SoCal Customs but they want $550. I was even thinking of doing it myself but not sure if I want to be responsible fore f*ing up my own car.

Any help would be appreciated.

think of it this way, if you want an alarm for your car, dont be cheap. Go to a place that specializes in installing alarm systems...dont be gay and say u cant afford it because frankly if you get a shit alarm, it probably wont work. Get something for the features you want, but i would leave it to the pros for installing them... if you never did one your asking for trouble.

the harness for the 07 is the same for all the mazda 3's 04-07 so they shouldnt have to learn how to do it (i work for the ccity) lol but im not in car install but i do have access to the web site that tells you where all the wires are and i did install the python 990 by myself with the help of that web site
