air fuel gauge install

i installed my a/f gauge and followed the how to section for a/f gauge, but nothing happened all that works is the lights. the pink and blue wire is connected correctly inside the engine bay. what can be the problem?

dude, go to the ecu under the pass floor board. thats what i did, and it worked fine. theres a how to for the ecu

just installed mine, and ya i went to the ecu wires, do that, they said there might be a problem if you connect through the engine bay.. i dono, its easier to get it right from the ecu, anyways, i was wondering where you hooked your power source up to, i installed my boost gauge as well with it, and i hooked the power wires both up to the dash dim wire, which after turning on the car realized that it wont turn on unless my lights are on.. wheres another wire i can plug into.. anyone?.. pic would be best
