Is the valve cover necessary to run the manifold or something?

soon the MSP vultures will begin to circle just because of the numbers 626 haha

those aren't the protege garage ones and i think they require the fuel rails to work on the protege 2.0s if im not mistaken

doh so its probably not the 2000 626

they are definately pre-2000, but you could still use them...just need a fuel rail and some tweaking.

actually i think one of them was from a 2000+ it had the camsensor VC but some jackass smashed it with a hammer pre me getting there.

so what fuel rails do you need for these

I was under the impression the EGR tube from the 626 didn't work for the MSP system.

Ken needs to give his wisdom here. cause im lost on what id need to get extra for these to work properly.

this is not an auction for manifolds i don't have.

Im dissapointed enough that i was ill informed & grabbed these to begin with.
these will be melted down for scrap. im sick of dicking around attempting to sell somehting no one wants.

why pay $50 for a part that needs modification when you can buy a "drop-in" part for just alittle more?

If they went to the junkyard to find the fuel rail ... they'll find it attached to the IM.
So there's no point of buying your manifolds if they can simply pull that, too, while they're snagging the rail.

There's no aftermarket variant of those generation fuel rails, so it's either OEM or custom machining.

I don't know why you're knocking 3rd Genners ... you're the genius that tried to make a profit by pilfering junkyards cars and not getting everything that's needed.
Anybody that goes to that same junkyard now looking for that part will find out that somebody already stole half of it, rendering their time & effort useless.

Instead of crying, go get the other pieces.
You already said you were going back to the yard, anyway.
If you want to make a profit, get off your ass and finish what you started.
Trashing those pieces because of your greediness would be a waste.

exactly...

that's why even tho i "thought" i didn't need the fuel rail, i still got it....turns out is a MUST

the junkyard i went to is 5 hours away & out of state jackass. I went back the next day after i posted that & its been how long since.

I was misinformed over the phone in the JY otherwise i wouldn't have even bothered to grab them in the first place. you can't blame a guy for trying to make even for his losses.
besides its much much easier to pull a top mounted fuel rail with a few bolts then to remove a whole manifold. i fail to see why it would be so damn difficult to go get the fuel rail for this anyhow if someone was determined enough & wanted the manifold they would take nessicary measures.
& why hasn't a mod closed this thread yet?
